Eric brings a decade of experience developing and implementing sustainability initiatives across a range of industries. Since joining Honeycomb Strategies, he has led certification efforts, developed long-term sustainability strategy, and conducted venue impact assessments for stadiums, arenas, and convention centers across the country. Certification efforts include LEED EB:OM and WELL Health-Safety Rating at Salt Palace Convention Center, ISO 20121 at SoFi Stadium, and EIC Sustainable Events Standards for Indiana Convention Center. In addition to his work with venues, Eric developed an ambitious strategic plan for zero waste events in Park City, Utah, in collaboration with community stakeholders from over a dozen venues, organizations, and government agencies. Prior work successes include conducting a detailed carbon footprint of the Tampa Bay Rays’ 2019 season, establishing a waste management policy for a renowned local deli, increasing their diversion rate by 60% and identifying opportunities to save 100,000 gallons of water and 55,000 kilowatt-hours at a picturesque waterfront camp on Catalina Island.

When he’s not wearing his Captain Planet tights, Eric enjoys birding, hiking, cycling, camping, playing baseball and golf, and spending quality time with his family, friends, and pets.

Eric lives in Los Angeles, California.
